Discount breakdown assistance from RCR
Register members are entitled to reductions on the standard
River and Canal Rescue Ltd.
fees as follows:
- Joining fee - 15% discount
- Renewal fee - 5% discount
- Direct Debit payments - 5% discount
- No Claims Discount - 5% discount
RCR have engineers which are familiar with Russell Newbery engines,
they have attended training days at the RN Diesel Engine Company's works
in Daventry. The engineers are equipped with the most up-to-date
mapping technology and tools to provide a fast and efficient service.
The agreement between the Register, the RN Diesel Engine Company and
River and Canal Rescue covers the following membership levels.
Gold
Breakdown assistance and recovery including Home-start, Crew Relay and Annual Engine Inspection
Vessel covered for any user or Member covered on any vessel. Unlimited call-outs for member or vessel. Pick up and drop off service to take the outboard to a specialist for repairs. Conveyance of crew to home address or marina. Maximum of two relays per year. Annual inspection of registered vessel, engine and electrical system. Replacement Parts Cover. If your craft is diagnosed as having a terminal breakdown, RCR will convey you and up to five other passengers to your home address or marina
Silver
Breakdown assistance & recovery including Home-start for registered Vessel, plus one other user.
7 call-outs in any one year period. Member can register one other user. The member or the registered user
must be onboard the vessel during a breakdown. Pick up and drop off service to take the outboard to a specialist for repairs. Conveyance of crew to home address or marina. Maximum of two relays in one year. Replacement Parts Cover
Bronze
Breakdown assistance & recovery for registered vessel and user only
Maximum of 4 call-outs in any 1 year period. Pick up and drop off service to take the outboard to a specialist for repairs. No crew conveyance. Member must be onboard vessel during a breakdown. Replacement Parts Cover
Retainer
Registers the User and boat as a Member, Breakdown and assistance charged at a flat rate of £40 per callout.
Recovery is charged at £35 per hour.
No Replacement Parts Cover.
Refer to River and Canal Rescue Ltd. for the current fees.
To take advantage of the RCR discounts, you must apply to RCR by telephone and tell them you are a Register member.
